Prior to Nexus, Jishnu has been involved with a leading venture capital firm and hi-technology start-ups in Silicon Valley. Most recently he worked as an Associate at Foundation Capital. Prior to that, he worked in engineering management and product management roles at a leading wireless semiconductor company, Scintera Networks and a leading circuits and systems company, Maxim Integrated Products.
Jishnu received an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he ran the Venture Capital Club and South Asian Students Association and co-led the Principal Investing Conference. At Stanford, Jishnu also helped incubate an India focused consumer payments company. In addition to a Stanford MBA, Jishnu also received an MS from Georgia Institute of Technology and a BTech from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He has more than twelve US patents issued and has authored six IEEE papers.
Jishnu is actively involved with TIE, the largest non-profit organization helping and mentoring entrepreneurs in India and Silicon-Valley. Jishnu's interests include consumer technologies, systems and cleantech.
